Watershed Sanitary Survey

Client: City of Cloverdale, California

WRE prepared the City of Cloverdale’s 2017 update of its watershed sanitary survey. The purpose of the survey was to identify actual or potential sources of contamination that could adversely impact the quality of public drinking water. In accordance with regulatory requirements, the sanitary survey included:

  • Physical and hydrogeological description of the watershed.
  • Summary of source water quality monitoring data.
  • Description of activities and sources of contamination.
  • Description of changes since last survey that could affect the quality of source water.
  • Description of watershed control and management practices.
  • Evaluation of water system’s ability to meet surface water treatment requirements and recommendations for corrective actions and/or potential improvements.
